The year 2020 began with a radical change in our lives, which should mark a milestone with socio-economic impact and put our greatest asset, health, at risk. The virus not only spread an infectious disease, but also the fear of one's own transience.

For a long time, isolation from one another was the only effective means of social protection. The various, ever more extensive regulations limited our freedom more and more. Masks covered our smiles to anonymity. Breathing was much harder for us.

​

Unable to escape this change and without any outside distractions, we looked within and questioned the true purpose of our existence. The daily experiences felt much more intense and we felt ourselves stronger than ever. Small gestures and small joys acquired great importance.

This exhibition is a reflection of ourselves between light and shadow. We are one and in symbiosis with our inner being, no matter what the context of our lives is.

At the end of this historical chapter, what matters is the focus with which we want to look at our lives.

Each of these photos is a reflection of our experiences from the last two years. With them, we as artists want to open up a space for self-reflection. To let our innermost radiate outwards.
